Marine electric wiring only must be applied on the yacht. The electric cable laid on the yacht is a well insulated, stranded, copper, tinned, twisted wire, more flexible and less prone to fatigue damage than the hard construction cable.
The electrical cable must meet certain load specifications. The path where cables are laid from the switchboard should be planned so that the wires are protected from chafing, heat, water and oil. The condition of the electrical network should be checked at the beginning and end of the season. The damage to the insulation and corrosion in the joints is possible. Any damaged parts must be replaced.
